      <image:caption>Senior Research Scientist B.A., Cell and Molecular Biology (Immunology Emphasis), University of California, Berkeley Ph.D., Gene Therapy &amp; Vaccines, University of Pennsylvania Rajiv received his B.A. in Cell and Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley, then earned a Ph.D. in Gene Therapy &amp; Vaccines at the University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Kathy High at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. For his dissertation research, he focused on in vivo genome editing for Hemophilia and other monogenic disorders. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Ravindra Majeti at Stanford University, where he used CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing to investigate the clonal evolution of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). He is interested in novel applications of molecular techniques to advance the understanding and treatment of disease.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Postdoctoral Scholar Ph.D., Neuroscience, UCLA Daniel received his BA in biology from Williams College in 2012, where he studied the genetics of epilepsy in Drosophila melanogaster for his undergraduate thesis. He received a Ph. D. in neuroscience from UCLA in 2018, where he studied the peripheral blood transcriptomes of patients with neurodegenerative diseases. He is interested in using and developing methods in computational genomics to understand aging disorders and immunology from single cells to large patient cohorts.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Graduate Student M.D., Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin Herra is a graduate student from Germany, having recently completed her MD at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She has completed several visiting clerkships during her medical studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University in Russia, and Shanti Nursing Home in India. Her scholarly interests are in experimental research and cardiovascular medicine. She plans to complete her doctoral thesis study here in the Jaiswal Lab, which focuses on the link between clonal hematopoiesis and atherosclerosis. Herra’s goal is to become a successful cardiologist and set up a hospital in India one day.</image:caption>

In the course of his clinical training, he joined the Döhner laboratory, where he focused on genomic aberrations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and obtained his doctoral degree 2017. Nikolaus is interested in the origins of aging-related hematological disorders and AML precursor states.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Postdoctoral Scholar Ph.D., Biomedical Sciences, The Ohio State University Shaneice received her BS in biochemistry from North Carolina State University in May of 2013. She subsequently received a Ph. D. in Biomedical Sciences at The Ohio State University in 2019 under the direction of Drs. Byrd and Lapalombella. For her dissertation research, she developed preclinical therapies for AML by targeting tumor metabolic processes. She is currently interested in the elucidating mechanisms that drive clonal hematopoiesis (CH) and its association with cardiovascular disease (CVD), with the hopes of developing therapies to reduce CH-induced risk of CVD.</image:caption>

Genetics, University of Calcutta Ph.D., All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi Debasmita received her Ph.D. in Epilepsy neurobiology from the Centre of Excellence for Epilepsy and MEG resource facility, Department of Neurosurgery, AIIMS under the guidance of Prof. P. Sarat Chandra. In her thesis work, she focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in the process of epileptogenesis. As part of her previous post-doctoral fellowship, she aimed to understand the diversity of cell types in the telencephalon among different species using single nuclei RNA sequencing. She is now interested in studying the association of CHIP with neurodegenerative diseases.</image:caption>

Lisa helped develop an AML cancer panel for clinical diagnoses and in the Jaiswal lab, she studies CHIP and single cell biology. He worked for 3 years as a post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Institutes of Health, conducting both wet and dry lab research. Now, Kameron is a graduate student studying Computational and Systems Immunology within the Immunology program at Stanford. He is interested in researching the effects of human genetic variation on the immune system during the pathogenesis of common complex diseases. Kameron is co-mentored by Stephen Montgomery and Siddhartha Jaiswal.</image:caption>
